Father Fryar has moved to St.
Victor’s. As a result, starting June 2nd, there will be a change in Mass
times both at St. Victor’s and San Felipe Chapel.
San Felipe Mass Times in the Extraordinary Form:
Sunday: Mass at 11 AM
1st Sunday: Mass at
11 AM with Fr. Solis
Monday: Mass at 7 PM Followed
by a Conference
First Friday: Mass at 7 PM with
Fr. Solis
St. Victor Mass Times in the Extraordinary Form:
Sunday: High Mass at 7 PM
Monday, Wednesday, and
Thursday: Mass at 7 AM
Tuesday and Friday: Mass at 7
PM
Saturday: Mass at 9 AM.
Confessions are available 30
minutes before each Mass.

Reminder: Mass time changes for San Felipe Chapel and Our Lady of Guadalupe

As a reminder, starting tomorrow until Ash Wednesday, morning weekday masses from Tuesday through Saturday will not be at San Felipe Chape as a result of Father Solis going on a Pilgramage and Vacationl. Instead, for those time periods, Father Fryar will be substituting for Fr. Solis and we will be having weekday Tridentine Masses Monday through Friday @ 7:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. NEWLY ORDAINED PRIEST TO OFFER WEEKDAY TLM MASSES HERE
Father Christian Felkner, O.S.B., a monk of Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey in Oklahoma, will be offering a daily Mass in the Extraordinary Form (TLM) at Holy Innocents on the following dates: Tuesday, January 13 through Friday, January 16, at 6:30 a.m. In addition, Father Felkner will offer Mass on Saturday, January 17, at 8:00 a.m. The newly ordained priest is the son of Stephen and Nancy Felkner of Fountain Valley and is one of approximately 62 graduates of Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula who have beomce priests.

FSSP-LA: Sunday Mass & Potluck at Saint Victors

As many of you know, we are also very blessed to have Father Fryar of the Fraternity of Saint Peter here in Los Angeles. Starting the First Sunday of Advent, November 30th, 2014 @ 7PM, Father Fryar will begin saying a weekly High Mass at Saint Victors. Everyone is encouraged to attend and requested to bring both family and friends. The choir has been diligently practicing. In addition, we plan on having a Potluck Dinner after the Mass, and ask everyone to participate. * In the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, All Saints Day is not a Holy Day of Obligation because it falls on a Saturday, however it is still a day in which one can receive graces by attending some of these masses. In the words of a wise priest, it is a Holy Day of Opportunity.

**In the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, All Souls Day cannot land on a Sunday. It is therefore transfered to the following day. Sunday, November 2nd is the 21st Sunday after Pentecost. The next time this will happen will be the year 2025.

All Souls Day – Solemn Requiem Mass in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Since the 2nd of November lands on a Sunday, in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, the day is transferred to the next day. One Monday Morning, November 3rd, a Solemn High Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Cemetery with Father Bishop as the Celebrant and Father Fryar, FSSP attending.

All Souls Day: Three Masses in the Evening at San Felipe

One Monday Evening, November 3rd, Fr Fryar will celebrate three Requiem Masses back to back, as is the privilege of All Souls Day. There will not be a conference following the Mass, however there will be many graces for attending.
