Please help! Need Assistance!

Holy-MassHello,

For two years, we have been sending information to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles with special events and Mass times concerning the Latin Mass. Over the years, the work has increased and we are in need of assistance. We want to continue to send news to as many people as possible, but we are in need of help in running this website, our surrounding social networks, and our mailing lists. We particularly need help from those involved in the following Latin Mass Communities.

  • St. Mary Magdalen
  • St. Peter and Paul
  • St. Victor’s

If you can help, and know how to build and maintain websites, please send an email to latinmassla@gmail.com to keep this site running.

Confirmations by Archbishop Gomez

Please read the message by Father Fryar below:

There’s been a change of plans for the Confirmation ceremony. The date is still the same – the 31st of May, at 7 PM, at St. Victor’s. And Archbishop Gomez will be administering Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form. However (as was customary, traditionally) we will not have a Pontifical Mass following, but rather Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It will be a very beautiful ceremony, and the conclusion of the Sacred Music Symposium which will be taking place that long weekend.

If you can keep the date on your calendar, still take off work, and be there, this is a great occasion: His Excellency the Archbishop will be visiting our FSSP Apostolate! Please let him see how vibrant a community we have become!

Fr Saguto, the District Superior of the Fraternity of St. Peter will be visiting as well that same day, more details on that to follow, (when everything has been figured out).

I apologize for any potential disappointment this might cause, due to a previous miscommunicated announcement on my part of a Pontifical Mass. However there is no reason for disappointment! This is going to be a very special day, not only for our confirmandi and their families, but for all of us! It will be the first time that Archbishop Gomez will visit our FSSP of LA community, and our children will be confirmed! It will be the conclusion of the Symposium and the ceremony will be amazing!
