A new personal parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles

We are very proud to announce that on June 25th, 2018, his Excellency, Archbishop José H. Gomez officially dedicated St. Vitus Catholic Church. This church will be the new home for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and is set to be a personal parish of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles dedicated for the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

Following the dedication ceremony, North American Superior Father Gerard Saguto, FSSP celebrated the first Mass with Archbishop Gomez delivering the sermon.

Archbishop Gomez has selected Fr. James Fryar, FSSP to be the new Paster and Fr. Frederick Masutti, FSSP as associate. Let us pray for Father Fryar as he begins his new apostate in Los Angeles. We have added the listings here in Los Angeles for those requesting more information.
