ONE OF MY FAVORITE TIMES OF THE YEAR…….HOLY WEEK!!!!!!!

As we finish up with the Christmas Season, we have some preliminary Holy Week Announcements. We want to get this information out to everyone as early as possible to people can make arrangements as necessary:

Address:
546 E. Florence Avenue
Inglewood, CA 90301

Holy Thursday, April 2nd:
SOLEMN MASS @ 5 PM

Good Friday, April 3rd:
SOLEMN LITURGY @ 3:30 PM

Easter Vigil, April 4th:
SOLEMN MASS @ 11 PM

If anyone is interested, I will be looking into the possibility of lodging over in Inglewood during those times. Sometimes hotels will offer group rates and I know some people travel as long as 4 hours for the Mass. In order for this to work, I will need at least 10 people. If you are interested, please let me know. Feel free to call/ text me at 818-794-9461 or send a message to decoulombe@gmail.com.

Altar Servers should start planning for this. Traditionally, on special days such as these, I like to open these Mases and Liturgies to all Servers in the Archdiocese who know how to Serve the Tridentine Mass. Please contact me if you are interested.

Epiphany blessing of Water, Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh

Please feel free to forward this to everyone. My apologies for getting this out so late.

It’s that time of year! Something you may have never experienced this before!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, Jan 5th at San Felipe, we will have the Blessing of Epiphany Water following the usual 7PM Mass. The ceremony for the blessing of the Epiphany Water is the most intense Holy Water blessing, involving a chanted minor exorcism over the water. This is a very powerful sacramental against the devil. You may bring empty bottles to take water home with you. The ceremony takes about 45 minutes.

Following the Epiphany Water blessing I will bless the Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. If you have any article of gold that you would like to have blessed with this blessing, feel free to bring it.

SAN FELIPE CHAPEL
738 N Geraghty Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90063

The next day, Tuesday the 6th of January, Father Fryar will celebrate the Mass of the Epiphany at San Felipe Chapel at 7 AM,
